Armor Rebalance

Armor Rebalance changes the protection values of vanilla armor and introduces a new armor balance system for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1.

Armor balance

The full armor sets provide the following protection:

• Leather: 12 armor
• Chainmail: 12 armor
• Gold: 18 armor
• Iron: 24 armor
• Diamond: 36 armor
• Netherite: 42 armor

The values are calculated relative to iron armor:

• Leather: 0.5× iron
• Chainmail: 0.5× iron
• Gold: 0.75× iron
• Diamond: 1.5× iron
• Netherite: 1.75× iron

Additional materials

The mod also adds crafting materials that can be used by compatible armor add-ons:

• Red Feather
• Grass Fabric
• Azure Fabric
• Sterile Tissue
• Reinforced Leather

Armor Rebalance does not require any additional mods.

Installation

1. Install Minecraft Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1.
2. Download Armor Rebalance.
3. Place the JAR file in the Minecraft mods folder.
4. Start the game.

For multiplayer, the mod must be installed on both the client and the server.
