📦 How It Works
1. Save a Block
Open your inventory or Creative menu, hover over a block, and press Ctrl + 1–9.
For example:
Ctrl + 3 → Slot 3 = Oak Stairs (oak_stairs)
A small toast notification confirms that the block has been saved.
2. Paste the Block ID
Open chat, type your command, and press the corresponding shortcut.
For example:
//set
Press Ctrl + 3:
//set oak_stairs
That's it.
3. Paste Block States
Need the exact block state?
Press Ctrl + Shift + 1–9 instead.
Example:
oak_stairs[facing=north,half=bottom,shape=straight,waterlogged=false]
This is especially useful when working with stairs, slabs, doors, and other blocks with multiple states.
4. Use the Chat Menu
Prefer using your mouse?
A small bookshelf button appears in the bottom-left corner of the chat. Click it to expand your saved blocks.
Each saved block displays its icon and name.
- Left click → Paste block ID
- Right click → Paste block ID + block states
The menu is designed to work alongside the chat without stealing focus.
🛠️ Perfect for WorldEdit
BlockPaste is especially useful for WorldEdit users.
Instead of searching for or manually typing long block IDs, simply save your commonly used blocks and paste them instantly.
//set oak_stairs
//replace stone polished_deepslate
//walls cobblestone
Build faster. Type less. Just BlockPaste.
