THE BOYKISSER CROSSHAIR

The BoyKisser Crosshair resource pack replaces the default Minecraft crosshair with a custom, hand-drawn BoyKisser design. The project aims to add a touch of personality, charm, and subtle meme culture to the game without breaking functionality. The crosshair remains perfectly centered, crisp, and fully usable for combat, building, and exploration — just with a smiling BoyKisser face accompanying you at all times. Compatible with standard resource pack methods and crosshair mods, supporting resolutions up to 64x64 pixels with proper hotspot alignment. Perfect for players who want a soft, friendly, and slightly silly aesthetic change to their HUD.

Supported versions

Minecraft 1.20 – 1.21.5. Older versions (1.19 and below) may show a black square or no crosshair at all.

Common error

If the crosshair becomes a black square or disappears — you likely placed the texture in the wrong folder. The correct path is: assets/minecraft/textures/gui/crosshair.png. Sometimes you need to create a sprites/hud/ folder inside gui.

Another issue

The crosshair shows up but clicks are offset (e.g., left of where you aim). This is a hotspot problem. Fix it by creating a crosshair.png.mcmeta file next to the texture with: {"cursor":{"hotspot_x":32,"hotspot_y":32}}

If the pack won't activate at all

Check the "pack_format" value in pack.mcmeta. Use 26 for 1.20 – 1.21.4, or 48 for 1.21.5.
