Christmas Season

Christmas Season is a lightweight Christmas event plugin for Paper/Spigot 1.21 (Java 21).
It brings snow, gifts, elves, decoration drops and snowmen to your server – all controlled through the /xmas command.

⚠️ Requirements

• Minecraft: 1.21.x
• Server: Paper or Spigot (most Bukkit forks will work)
• Java: 21

Features

• ❄ Snow biomes & snow cover

  • Configurable snow world (snowWorld in config.yml)
  • Biome-based snow cover: turn whole biomes like SNOWY_PLAINS into snowy landscapes
  • Performance-friendly processing using tick batches (intervalTicks, maxChunksPerRun, playerBubble, etc.)
  • Optional restore feature to revert modified chunks/blocks as far as possible

• 🌨️ Snowstorms

  • Global snowstorm effect by controlling your server weather
  • Configurable modes (auto, forced on/off)
  • Automatic on/off cycles based on configurable intervals

• 🎄 Christmas decoration

  • Periodic decoration drops with the custom item name §aWeihnachts-Deko
  • Fully configurable drop items (decoration.drops)
  • Optional glowing items (decoration.glow)
  • Despawn time and spawn interval are configurable

• 🎁 Gifts

  • Global gift spawns in intervals
  • Multiple loot tables: common, extra, rare (e.g. cookies, sweet berries, ice, diamonds, netherite scrap, etc.)
  • Configurable lifetime and spawn chance per interval
  • Optional broadcast on spawn (gifts.broadcastOnSpawn)
  • Manual spawn command /xmasgift

• 🧝 Elves & helpers

  • Configurable elves and helpers (Wichtel) via wichtel.* and elves.*
  • Automatically spawn in the configured world(s)
  • Max count per world and spawn intervals are configurable
  • Add extra Christmas atmosphere to your server

• ☃️ Snowmen

  • Automatic snowman spawns
  • Configurable: maximum number, spawn interval, attack range and attack chance
  • Can interact with mobs in a classic snow golem–style defense

  • Listeners for snow, gifts, decoration, snowmen and elves
  • Focus on server performance and predictable effects
  • Everything can be disabled centrally if you want to pause the event
