DiscordLinker
Your Discord server and your Minecraft server. One channel. One community.
DiscordLinker turns a Discord channel into your server's second home: every message, death, advancement and join in
Minecraft shows up in Discord — and every message in Discord shows up in Minecraft. One jar, one config file, two
minutes to set up.
:zap: TL;DR
- :arrows_counterclockwise: Full two-way chat bridge — no scripts, no extra processes
- :bust_in_silhouette: Players appear in Discord with their own name and Minecraft skin (webhook)
- :robot: Slash commands:
/list,/status,/link - :link: Account linking — Discord messages show your Minecraft name in-game
- :trophy: Deaths, advancements, joins, leaves and server events relayed automatically
- :hammer: Every relay and message format is configurable, reloadable in-game

✨ Why DiscordLinker?
| DiscordLinker | Typical chat-link plugins |
|--------------------------------------------|-----------------------------------------|
| Plugin + bot in one jar | Separate bot + plugin to install |
| Webhook avatars — players look like players | Plain bot messages only |
| Account linking built in | Usually missing |
| Slash commands + text commands | Text commands only |
| Live player-count status | Static or no status |
| Auto-creates its webhook | Manual webhook setup |
🚀 Quick Start

- Drop

discord:
token: "YOUR_DISCORD_BOT_TOKEN"
channel-id: "YOUR_DISCORD_CHANNEL_ID"
/discordlinker reload— done. ✅

⚙️ Config overview
Everything in plugins/DiscordLinker/config.yaml, with sensible defaults — most servers never change anything
beyond the token and channel ID. Highlights:
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|----------------------------------|-------------------------------------------|------------------------------|
| discord.token | — | Your bot token |
| discord.channel-id | — | The channel to link |
| discord.status | with {players}/{max} players | Bot activity text |
| settings.use-webhook | true | Player name + skin in Discord|
| settings.status-update-interval| 60 | Live player count, 0 = off |
| settings.relay-* | true (chat, join/leave, deaths, adv.) | Toggle each relay |
| messages.* | pre-formatted | Every message is editable |
Placeholders: {player}, {message}, {user}, {advancement}. Color codes (&7, &b) work in-game,
Discord markdown works in Discord.
