Run, fight, die, repeat — and every kill counts. FFACore punishes combat loggers, drops red Kill Tokens, celebrates
kill streaks and ranks your players. One jar, zero dependencies.

FFACore is the lightweight core for Free-For-All (FFA) PvP servers. It's built around the four things an FFA server
needs to feel alive: no one escapes a fight, kills leave proof behind, streaks get loud, and the best
players get bragging rights
.

:zap: Features

:stopwatch: Combat log — nobody escapes

  • The moment a fight starts, you're tagged — a red countdown burns in your action bar
  • Log out while tagged and you die: your items drop where you stood
  • Your killer still gets the kill — token, streak and all
  • Flight is blocked mid-combat; check yourself anytime with /combatlog

:star2: Kill tokens — proof of every kill

  • Every PvP kill drops a red Nether Star: "Kill Token"
  • They're physical items — collect them, hoard them, trade them, flex them
  • /tokens shows your balance; admins can give or take any amount

:fire: Kill streaks — get loud

  • Consecutive kills build a streak; milestones like 5, 10, 20, 30 get broadcast server-wide
  • Each milestone can reward real items via console commands — diamonds, effects, titles, you decide
  • Your best streak is saved forever; death resets the current one

:chart_with_upwards_trend: Stats & leaderboards — permanent bragging rights

  • Kills, deaths, K/D, current & best killstreak, tokens earned — all saved in stats.yml
  • /stats [player] for anyone's record
  • /top kills | deaths | tokens | streak ranks the server

:shield: Spawn protection — no spawn camping

  • Fresh respawns get a shield so they're not instantly farmed
  • Protected players can't take damage and can't deal it (both togglable), with a countdown HUD

🚀 Quick Start

  1. Drop FFACore.jar into plugins/
  2. Restart the server
  3. That's it — sensible defaults, fully working out of the box

Tune everything in plugins/FFACore/config.yaml and apply live with /ffa reload.

🎮 Commands

| Command | What it does |
|-----------------------------------|-------------------------------------------|
| /ffa status | Live status of every system |
| /ffa reload | Apply config without restart |
| /combatlog (/cl) | Am I in combat? |
| /tokens | Your Kill Token balance |
| /tokens give <player> <amount> | Give tokens (admin) |
| /tokens take <player> <amount> | Take tokens (admin) |
| /stats [player] | Your (or anyone's) record |
| /top kills|deaths|tokens|streak | Server leaderboards |

⚙️ Configuration

| Section | Key highlights | Default |
|--------------------|------------------------------------------|----------------|
| combat-tag | duration-seconds, block-fly | 15, true |
| kill-tokens | amount, name, lore | 1, red "Kill Token" |
| kill-streaks | announce-at, rewards (console cmds) | 5/10/20/30 |
| stats | top-size | 10 |
| spawn-protection | duration-seconds, prevent-* | 10, true |
| messages | every HUD and chat message | pre-formatted |

Color codes (&c, &6, …) work everywhere — messages, HUD, item names.
