More Golden Foods

Vanilla golden apples and golden carrots — but for every other food in the game.

Craft 31 golden food recipes, hunt down 35 enchanted variants and 4 legendary golden stews in chest loot, and eat any of them for tiered status effects. 70 new items in total.

What's in the mod

• 35 golden foods covering every vanilla edible the game doesn't already gold-plate: meats, fish, breads, soups, sweets, and oddballs (golden rotten flesh, golden poisonous potato, golden spider eye).
• 35 enchanted golden variants with 1.75× effect duration, EPIC rarity, and the enchantment glint. Loot-only — they cannot be crafted.
• 31 crafting recipes — surround any base food with 8 gold ingots in the crafting grid, the classic golden-apple pattern.
• Chest loot in 12 vanilla loot tables across 11 structure types — see the loot table below.
• Always edible — eat any of them on a full hunger bar; effects apply regardless.
• Client + server side, no config required.

Quirky flavors keep their character but lose the downsides:

• Golden spider eye → Strength (no poison)
• Golden rotten flesh → Resistance (no hunger)
• Golden poisonous potato → Luck (no poison)
• Golden pufferfish → Water Breathing + Conduit Power (no nausea)
• Golden chorus fruit → keeps the random teleport, plus Speed

Enchanted versions apply the same effects with 1.75× duration.

When the roll succeeds, one random enchanted golden food or golden stew is added to the chest.

Note on existing vanilla goldens

Vanilla already ships golden_apple, enchanted_golden_apple, and golden_carrot — those are not duplicated. Everything else gets the gold treatment.
