Difficulty Improvements

Difficulty Improvements is a datapack that enhances vanilla difficulties and some other mechanics.

Features and Changes

Difficulty Improvements mainly focused on widening the difficulty gaps. Increasing difficulty makes more harder to survive but the rewards you earn also increase. The opposite is also true.

Easy

• Most enemies have 20% less health.
• Experience you gained is reduced by half.

Normal

• Enemies have x1.5 chance of dropping their equipment.
• Ender Dragon's health is increased to 300.
• Wither's health is increased to 400.

Hard

• Most enemies have 20% more health and gain 0.1 knockback resistance.
• Enemies have x2 chance of dropping their equipment.
• Experience you gained is doubled.
• Ender Dragon's health is increased to 375.
• Wither's health is increased to 500.
• Ender Dragon and Wither drops their respective trophies.

This datapack also adds some balancing mechanics, including:

• Bosses gain 15% health boost for each additional player in multiplayer.
• Villagers spawn with permanent Regeneration effect.
• Wandering Traders have a chance (50% on Normal and 100% on Hard) to sell an additional item.
