Distinct Ores
Vanilla ores mostly differ by color, which is a problem in dim light, deep caves, or for color-blind players. Distinct Ores gives every ore its own geometric vein shape, so you can identify it at a glance even when you can't see the color clearly.
What the pack changes
- Coal - clusters of dots
- Iron - diagonal stripe
- Copper - large "X" (copper + green patina)
- Gold - cross "+"
- Redstone - ring
- Lapis - triangle (pyramid)
- Diamond - rhombus
- Emerald - square
Details
- Covers all 16 ore blocks - both the stone and deepslate variant of each ore.
- 16x resolution, matches the vanilla style (keeps the original ore colors).
- Pure resource pack - no mods, no Fabric, just drop it into
