Electrical Age (ELN) is a large-scale electrical engineering and automation mod for Minecraft 1.7.10.
This maintained fork includes many bugfixes, ongoing updates, and additional content while preserving the core ELN experience.

- True electrical simulation with resistance, capacitance, current flow, and meaningful power behavior
- Expanded shaft/mechanical systems for richer automation and machine design
- Less rigid voltage-tier constraints, enabling more creative builds
- Newer devices and gameplay updates beyond the original dormant upstream
- Continued maintenance for long-term 1.7.10 worlds and modpacks

Compatibility and integrations
This mod works well with major 1.7.10 tech ecosystems, including:

It also supports broader fuel integrations through the ELN fuel registry. Most reasonable mod fuels are supported.
Known compatibility notes:
- Avoid mods that forcibly rewrite block states on ELN blocks. Notably, the portable hole in Thaumcraft.
- Optifine and Angelica are known to cause issues with Electrical Age and are not recommended.
