Enchantment Disabler

A lightweight Paper 1.21-1.21.11 plugin that lets you disable entire enchantments or specific levels of them. Since Minecraft 1.20 the enchantment registry is immutable, so this plugin does its best to remove the enchantment

Enchanting table - the three offers are downgraded or removed, and anything applied is stripped/downgraded at the moment of enchanting (fully-blocked results are cancelled so the player keeps XP and lapis).
Anvils - result previews are cleaned before the player can take them.
Villagers - new trades are rewritten or cancelled; existing villagers' trades are cleaned when their trade menu is opened.
Loot - chest loot, fishing loot, and loot-table drops are cleaned as they generate.
Creative menu / any inventory click - items are cleaned the instant they're clicked (covers the creative enchanted-book tab).
Dropped items & pickups - item entities are cleaned when they spawn and when picked up.
Already-owned items - a periodic sweep (default every 2 seconds) plus a join-time sweep cleans player inventories, armor, offhand, cursor, and ender chests, so equipped items lose disabled enchants almost immediately.
Enchanted books left with zero enchantments are converted to plain books (configurable).

Level behavior
Disabling a level (e.g. Protection 4) keeps lower levels working. By default an item carrying a disabled level is downgraded to the highest still-allowed level (Protection 4 → Protection 3). Set downgrade-instead-of-remove: false in config.yml to remove the enchant entirely instead.

Disabling with no level given disables all levels.

Aliases: /ed, /enchdis. Names are case-insensitive and tab-completion suggests every registered enchantment (including datapack/custom ones, using namespace:key). Permission: enchantmentdisabler.use (default: op).

Rules are saved to plugins/EnchantmentDisabler/config.yml and survive restarts
