KlötzleCraft – Albschwäbisch Language Pack

KlötzleCraft is a humorous German language resource pack that translates Minecraft into Central Swabian as spoken around Gomadingen, Münsingen, and the Swabian Jura. It brings the language, attitude, and dry humor of the Schwäbische Alb directly into
your game—without changing textures, sounds, mechanics, or gameplay.

This is not just standard German with a few random Swabian endings added. The vocabulary and spelling are based on the regional Mittelschwäbisch of the Münsingen area. Expect expressions such as “Graoß”, “Grasboda”, “Fähnle”, “Köpfle”, and plenty of
affectionate diminutives. The translation is deliberately broad, playful, and readable rather than being a strict phonetic or academic transcription.

KlötzleCraft covers far more than the main menu. The pack includes translated names for all vanilla items and blocks, menus, settings, graphics options, music and sound controls, skin customization, multiplayer screens, advancements, commands, chat
messages, and death messages. Even the less fortunate moments have received some proper Swabian treatment: players may no longer simply die—they might have “verreckt” or “gibt’s nemme.”

The pack contains complete language templates for both classic and modern Minecraft versions. It supports Minecraft Java Edition from 1.12.2 onward, including modern releases such as 1.20.1. Because Minecraft changed its language-file format after
1.12.2, KlötzleCraft includes both the legacy .lang files and modern .json translations.

After enabling the resource pack, open the language menu and select:

Älblerisch (Gomadingen–Münsingen)

For convenience, the pack also replaces the regular German translation while it is active. This means selecting Deutsch (Deutschland) should display the dialect as well. If Minecraft remains in English, make sure either Älblerisch or German is selected
in the language settings.

KlötzleCraft is ideal for Swabians, fans of regional dialects, Minecraft communities from the Alb, or anyone who thinks a crafting table sounds much better as a Wergbänkle.
