Explanation for Foreigners・外国人用の解説

This pack adds the pre-ww2 orthography(kyuukanadukai) and the unsimplified kanji(kyuuzitai) of the Meiji-era(and Showa-era) (1868-1912) with only katakana, which was reformed during the allied occupation to make it easier for ordinary people to read. (it was also planned before the ww2, but it was not possible)

It also includes some translations to capture the urge to translate foreign concepts that was prevalent during those years, rather than simply borrowing words from other languages. (Like inventing 共和国 instead of simply borrowing リパブリック)

It is inspired by the pre-reform-russian option that comes with the vanilla game and i love slavic languages so i really enjoyed it. It was fun to work on this for myself and others interested in linguistics. And yes, i made it manually and didn't use ai (took 8~12 hours)

概要

片仮名のみの明治時代頃の戦前表記を対応できるリソースパックです。ただ面倒なので横書きなのに右→左にしなかったんですけどできる方が居たらご連絡いただけると幸いです。隠し要素みたいなのもちょこちょこあります。

How to Use / 使い方

When you apply the pack, it will add a new language called "戰前表記（舊假名遣ヒ、舊字體）"

このリソースパックを適用したら、言語選択画面に「戰前表記（舊假名遣ヒ、舊字體）」という言語が追加されます。

About the logo

This resourcepack that uses the minecraft tooltip design was my main inspiration.
