To have just darkmode chat, download this resource pack and add it to your resource packs folder.

OSRS Resource Pack Installation

This resource pack makes the chat background in the MineScape Addoms Mod Pack a darker color making chat easier to read and also supports importing textures directly from any RuneLite OSRS Resource Pack.

Follow the steps below to add your RuneLite resource pack to the Minecraft resource pack.

Step 1 - Download the Resource Pack

Step 2 - Open Your RuneLite Resource Pack

1. Press Win + R.
2. Paste the following path:

%userprofile%\.runelite\resource-packs-repository\0\

3. Press Enter.
4. Open the folder of the RuneLite resource pack you want to use.

Step 3 - Copy the Resource Pack Files

1. Select everything inside the resource pack folder.
2. Press Ctrl + C or right-click and select Copy.

Step 4 - Add the Files to the Minecraft Resource Pack

1. Open the downloaded Minecraft resource pack.
2. Navigate to the following folder:

runescape

3. Paste (Ctrl + V) all of the copied files into the runescape folder.
4. If Windows asks whether to replace or merge files, choose Yes.

Step 5 - Install the Resource Pack

Move the modified ZIP into your Minecraft resource packs folder:

Launch Minecraft, then navigate to Options → Resource Packs Packs then press "Open Pack Folder"

Then enable the resource pack from the same Options directory

Finished!

The Minecraft resource pack now contains the textures from your selected RuneLite resource pack and is ready to use.
