MYTHOS

Introduction

Hey there!
I'm ProbsWinter, a modeling hobbyist who plays Wynncraft.
I have had a great time playing on Wynncraft, but I soon realized that many items share the same models.
While the models were neat, the fact that higher-tiered items can have the same look as some common equipment makes them feel less special. Wouldn't it be nice if there were more variation? To change this, I started modeling, and multiple resourcepacks were created in the course of two years, all of which became the foundation of MYTHOS, which is the project you're seeing right now.

You may notice discrepancies in the quality of models, and this is because MYTHOS is still incomplete and growing. I will try my best to get all models to be up-to-date while giving every Mythic item a distinct appearance.

This is a fan-made resourcepack of Wynncraft and I am not affiliated with the team running Wynncraft.

Summary

MYTHOS is a work-in-progress, unofficial resourcepack made for Wynncraft. With a goal of breathing life into items that Wynncraft players all know and love, MYTHOS applies new models to many Mythics and numerous lower-tiered items.

Required Mods

• As of now, the resourcepack requires Variants-CIT, which is necessary for detecting item names and applying the corresponding model. Versions of the pack which use Variants-CIT have a [VCIT] tag in their names.

• CIT Resewn versions of the pack (marked by a [CITR] tag) are old and unsupported since the mod itself seems to be discontinued.

• If the models fail to show up even after installing Variants-CIT, try install Server Pack Unlocker and place MYTHOS above the Wynncraft Pack in your 'Resource Packs...' page to ensure that models in this resourcepack are not overriden by models in the server resourcepack.

• It is heavily recommended (but not required) to run Wynntils with this pack, as the mod's Spell Cast Message Overlay function prevents models from not applying when spells are cast. It is also a good general QoL mod for Wynncraft.

• Optifine is not supported.
