Nether Been There is a datapack that adds some much needed variety to the nether through 4 new biomes, each expanding on a different part of the dimension

Biomes

The Magmatic Fen

A new magma themed biome that spawns near both Crimson Forests and Basalt deltas

Piglins, Magma Cubes, and Warm Chickens (how else would the zombie piglin chicken jockeys get them smh) all spawn here, and strider spawns are boosted.

The Stormlands

A vast stretch of gravel characterized by it's constant electrical storms, found anywhere in the nether.

Breezes, slimes, and occaisionally zoglin horse traps all spawn here.

You may also come across lightning elementals, which shock anyone who comes too close.

The Glowverhangs

A serene obligatory glowstone themed biome

Bee Nests can be found hidden amongst the glowstone, where the elusive nether bee comes out to visit the nearby flowers

There are also "amplified" versions of the strider (which is unridable but can carry stuff and is much faster), and magma cube (which is just bigger). As well as the occaisonal potion cloud, which grants glowing and gets bigger when used, before disappearing after 30 seconds.

The Withered Forest

A labrynthine forest that sometimes generates between Crimson Forests and Soul Sand Valleys. Said to even predate the current nether, now twisted by outside forces.

Wither Skeletons, Zoglins, and Zombie Piglins, all cohabitate the biome, and you can even find the occaisonal fossil or dried ghast.

The Corrupted Forest

A variant of the Warped Forest that's further taken over by void. Often generating inside normal ones.

It spawns the usual Endermen as well as Creakings, which unlike their overworld counterparts can be taken care of with one hit.
