Random Monster Names
What does this datapack do?
When a hostile mob spawns in your world, this datapack automatically gives it a random name. The name appears floating above the mob, just like using a name tag on an animal.
That's it. Simple, lightweight, and surprisingly entertaining.
Why use it?
- Makes exploration more fun – You'll never see just another zombie. You'll meet "Grumbles" or "Toebeans" instead.
- Creates memorable moments – "Remember that creeper named 'Boomer' who blew up our front gate?"
- No setup required – Just drop it in your datapacks folder and play.
Supported mobs
Zombies, Skeletons, Spiders, Creepers, Witches, Pillagers, Vindicators, and their variants (Husk, Stray, Drowned, etc.).
