Shadow Player

About

Shadow Player is a server side Carpet mod orchestrator that maintains a 'shadow' version of a player when they disconnect from the server, preserving their presence. This way, players can stay online forever on the server as long as they are alive, even if they log out. The mod might be useful for creating cool challenges or unique survival scenarios where logging out doesn’t guarantee safety - anything you can do to an AFK player, you can also do to their fake shadow presence as well.

Installation

How to Install the Mod:

1. Download the latest version of the mod along with any required dependencies.
2. Place the mod files into your server's "mods" folder.
3. Restart the server to load the mod.
4. That's it — you're ready to go!

Dependencies

In order the shadow player mod to work you need these dependencies:

• Fabric API
• Carpet

Extra Idea:
You can add mod that removes join and leave msgs and nobody will know if its a real or shadow player.

Update News

The Shadow Player Mod will support all Fabric versions from 1.21 to 1.21.5 by April 10th 2025!
