SkriptWEFAWEAddon

Welcome to the official wiki for SkriptWEFAWEAddon, a high-performance Skript addon crafted by YusufKGD.
This addon bridges the gap between Skript's powerful logic and the blazing-fast asynchronous block manipulation of WorldEdit and FastAsyncWorldEdit (FAWE).

⚡ Features

  • Seamless Integration: Fully compatible with standard Skript variables, loops, and conditions.
  • Blazing Fast: Directly utilizes WorldEdit & FAWE's EditSessions, completely eliminating server lag when handling massive block updates.
  • Schematic Support: Save, load, and paste .schem files effortlessly.
  • Universal Support: Works smoothly with both standard WorldEdit and FastAsyncWorldEdit.

📦 Requirements

  • Java: 21+
  • Minecraft: 26.2+
  • Skript: 2.8.0+
  • WorldEdit or FastAsyncWorldEdit (FAWE) is required. We highly recommend using FAWE!

🛠️ Installation

  1. Download the latest SkriptWEFAWEAddon.jar from Modrinth.
  2. Place the file into your server's plugins/ directory.
  3. Ensure you have Skript and WorldEdit (or FAWE) installed.
  4. Restart your server.
  5. (Optional) Customize plugin messages in plugins/SkriptWEFAWEAddon/messages.yml.

📖 Documentation

Below is the complete list of syntaxes provided by this addon. You can prefix any of these syntaxes with either we or fawe.

Set Blocks
Quickly fills a specified region with a block type.

Syntax:

[we|fawe] set blocks between %location% and %location% to %string%

Example:

set {_loc1} to player's location
set {_loc2} to location at (x-coordinate of player + 10), (y-coordinate of player + 10), (z-coordinate of player + 10) in player's world
we set blocks between {_loc1} and {_loc2} to "minecraft:diamond_block"

Replace Blocks
Replaces a specific type of block with another within a defined region.

Syntax:

[we|fawe] replace [blocks] %string% between %location% and %location% with %string%

Example:

we replace blocks "stone" between {_loc1} and {_loc2} with "grass_block"

Paste Schematic
Pastes a schematic file located in the plugins/WorldEdit/schematics (or FAWE's schematic) folder.

Syntax:

[we|fawe] paste schematic %string% at %location% [without air]

Example:

# Pastes 'spawn.schem' at the player's location, ignoring empty air blocks in the schematic.
we paste schematic "spawn" at player's location without air

Save Schematic
Saves a specific region as a .schem file to your server's schematics folder.

Syntax:

[we|fawe] save schematic %string% between %location% and %location% [with origin %-location%]

Example:

# Saves the region to a file named 'my_house.schem'
we save schematic "my_house" between {_loc1} and {_loc2} with origin player's location

⚙️ Configuration

Upon first startup, the plugin generates a messages.yml file. You can fully translate or customize error messages displayed when invalid blocks or missing schematics are handled.

prefix: "[KGD-WE] "

errors:
schematic_not_found: "Schematic file %file% does not exist!"
unknown_format: "Unknown schematic format for file %file%."
  invalid_pattern: "Invalid WorldEdit pattern: '%pattern%'. Reason: %reason%"
invalid_mask_or_pattern: "Invalid WorldEdit mask or pattern. Reason: %reason%"
