Items

Amethyst Dust

• What it is: Crafted from amethyst shards via Smithing. Stackable.
• Behavior: Edible — eat it for Speed II (30s), Strength II (25s), Glowing (30s).
• Recipe: Smithing template (amethyst shard) + 1 amethyst shard base + 1 amethyst shard addition → 3 amethyst dust.

Amethyst Carrot

• What it is: Edible food item.
• Behavior: Hunger 6, saturation 0.8 (slightly better than a steak).
• Recipe: Shaped 3×3 — center is a vanilla carrot, surrounded by 8 amethyst dust → 9 amethyst carrots.

Refined Amethyst Crystal

• What it is: Single-stack tool item.
• Behavior: Right-click to dash 5 blocks forward in your look direction. Blends prior velocity with the dash so it feels natural during sprinting/falling. Up-look adds extra lift. 3-second cooldown. Plays ender-teleport sound.
• Recipe: Shaped pattern of gold ingots and amethyst dust.

Vibration Detector

• What it is: Single-stack tool item.
• Behavior: While holding + sneaking, applies Glowing to every living entity in a 25-block radius.
• Recipe: Shaped with echo shards + amethyst dust.

Amethyst Mirror

• What it is: Single-stack tool item with NBT-backed entity link.

• Behavior:

  • Right-click while looking at a mob: Links to that mob.
  • Right-click while linked: Swaps positions with the linked entity (up to 50 blocks apart).
  • Shift+right-click while linked: Toggles spectate-through-eyes mode — your camera switches to the linked entity's view. You stay frozen in place at your saved spot. Shift+right-click again to return.

• Recipe: Shaped with diamonds, iron ingots, and amethyst dust.

Crystalline Anchor

• What it is: Single-stack tool item, shatters when used.
• Behavior: Two-stage save/restore.
  • First right-click (Set): Saves your position, yaw/pitch, HP, hunger, saturation, and active status effects into NBT.
  • Second right-click (Restore): Teleports you back to the saved position, restores HP/hunger/saturation, re-applies all saved status effects.
• Consumes anchor on use.
• Recipe: Shaped with amethyst dust, ender pearls, amethyst shard.

Amethyst Lantern (formerly "Soul Harvester")

• What it is: Single-stack tool item with NBT-stored captured mob data.
• Behavior:
  • Right-click in air: Harvests every mob in a 10-block radius of the same entity type as the first one captured. Stores full mob NBT (so when released, the mob keeps its name, HP, effects, custom data). Caps at 10 souls.
  • Players caught in the harvest zone: Applied Soulless status effect for 60 seconds (instead of being captured).
  • Mobs with > 150 HP: The lantern shatters (you're guaranteed to survive at ≥ 2 HP).
  • Right-click block: Release one captured soul at the block face.
  • Sneak + right-click block: Release all souls at once.
• Recipe: Shaped — netherite block surrounding amethyst dust.

Amethyst Gauntlet (formerly "Sonic Gauntlet")

• What it is: Single-stack combat item.
• Behavior: Right-click fires a 40-block beam.
  • Hits the first valid entity in the beam path for 15~ sonic-boom damage (armor-bypassing) + 1.5-strength knockback.
  • 3.5-second cooldown.
• Recipe: Shaped 3×3 — vibration detectors + music disc 5 + amethyst dust + gold ingots + netherite scrap.

Enchantments

Resonance (weapon, max level III)

• Effect: On hit, releases a shockwave around the target.
• Source: Simple Dungeon chests (35%) and the enchanting table.

Crystallize (weapon, max level III)

• Effect: On hit, applies Slowness (level - 1) and Mining Fatigue (level - 1) for 3 × level seconds.
• Source: Simple Dungeon chests (35%) and the enchanting table.

Echo Strike (weapon, max level II)

• Effect: Hits echo half a second later.
• Source: Ancient City chests (40%) and the enchanting table.

Amethyst Ward (chestplate, max level I)

• Effect: When a hit would kill you, instead set HP to 1 and trigger a knockback-only explosion around you. The chestplate breaks (decremented to 0). One-shot save. Doesn't trigger from void or /kill.

Vibration Cloak (leggings, max level I)

• Effect: Masks every vibration you produce — sculk sensors, calibrated sculk sensors, and the Warden's hearing all ignore you. Works at all times (not just sneaking).
• Source: Ancient City chests (40%) and the enchanting table.

Reflective Shell (chestplate, max level III)

• Effect: 15% × level chance to reflect incoming projectiles back at their owner.
• Source: Stronghold Library chests (30%) and the enchanting table.

Status Effects

Echo (beneficial)

• Effect: Your attacks echo — every hit deals an extra delayed strike 1 second later.
• Source: Echo Potion.

Shatter (harmful)

• Effect: When you take damage, every armor piece on you takes 5× normal durability damage.
• Source: Shatter Potion.

Soulless (harmful)

• Effect: Reduces max HP by 10 (5 hearts) and slows movement by 30%. Visible in the HUD effects panel. Lasts 60 seconds.
• Source: Standing in the Amethyst Lantern's harvest zone when activated (cant be caused to self).

• Effect: 45 seconds of Echo.
• Brewing: Awkward Potion + Echo Shard → Potion of Echo.

Potion of Shatter

• Effect: 20 seconds of Shatter.
• Brewing: Awkward Potion + Iron Ingot → Potion of Shatter.
