Stafleet SMP Modpack

This is the Modpack made for the Starfleet SMP Server.
It's purpose is to have a Vanilla-vibe to it but greatly improve visuals, progression and mechanics.

While you can use it for a singleplayer world, I would recommend using it for a SMP as it includes loads of server stuff that one wouldn't need in a singleplayer world.

Feel free to use it yourself.

Version Guide

You can choose between the stable and alpha modpacks. Both will allow you to join the SMP (or another server hosting this modpack) and will only differ in client-side.

The Alpha Channel

All of the images used here are taken from this version of the modpack. It includes early access versions of Distant Horizons, Iris and Bliss Shaders. When combined they will deliver a visual experience which was thought impossible just a few months ago.

The Stable Channel

For people who don't want to bother with crashes and bad performance - or who don't care about insane view distance.

Vanilla meets Create

This modpack made for the Starfleet SMP features Create and a ton of vanilla+ mods to enhance the playing experience and prolong the game progression.

Much, much better progression - while keeping vanilla playstyle

There are more biomes to explore, more enemies to kill, more colorful mobs to discover and more weapons/gear to grind.

Enemy mobs

There are a ton of changes to enemy mobs, while not adding many new ones.
Mobs are stronger, more intelligent, more diverse and improve in their skills over time.

Leveling

You can now level your gear by e.g. killing enemies with your sword - making it stronger.

Overworld dungeons

Huge, diverse dungeons spawn in the overworld, ready for you to explore and conquer.

Reworked Deep-dark, Nether, End and Ender Dragon

Previously bland biomes/dimensions get a brand new feel to them with much, much more to explore.
Slay the Ender Dragon like never before with a new End-Island and a more diverse Endboss.

Diverse Biomes and structures

There are more biomes and the terrain generation is greatly improved. There are also a ton more structures to discover and villages have much greater attention to detail.

Distant Horizons

Included in this modpack are Distant horizon and Iris. Out-of-the-box it will work great - but you can easily improve the visuals by downloading the Alpha version of this modpack which features the new versions of DH and Iris (see above).
