Timer_in_window
ModrinthA customizable singleplayer countdown timer: earn the “Free the End” advancement before time runs out, or lose the world.
Timer_in_Window is a client-side mod for singleplayer worlds that adds a customizable countdown timer when creating a new world.
Before starting a new game, you can set any amount of time manually or choose from convenient presets. Once the world is created, a countdown timer appears on screen.
If time runs out before you earn the "Free the End" advancement, the player dies and the world is permanently deleted. If you manage to defeat the Ender Dragon in time, the timer disappears and the world continues as normal.
Features:
Customizable timer when creating a world
Manual time input (hours, minutes, seconds)
Quick presets (30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours, 5 hours)
On-screen countdown display
Configurable timer position (4 corners)
Timer flashes red/white in the last 10 seconds
Timer pauses when the game is paused
Timer stops after earning "Free the End" advancement
How It Works
When you create a new singleplayer world, the mod opens a timer setup screen. You can enter the desired time manually or pick a preset, and choose whether to enable or disable the timer for this world.
Once you enter the world, the countdown begins. The timer is displayed in one of the screen corners and only counts down while the game is unpaused.
As time runs low, the timer changes color. In the last 10 seconds, it starts flashing between white and red. If the timer reaches zero, the player is killed and the world is permanently deleted.
If you earn the "Free the End" advancement before time runs out, the timer disappears and the world is safe.
Good to Know
The world is deleted only when the timer expires
Regular deaths do not delete the world
The mod is client-side only and will not affect multiplayer servers
Timer position can be configured via Mod Menu or the pause menu
