1. Spawning & Gacha 🎲

• A Unique Friend Every Time: Unique traits, outfits (50% biome-specific), and professions (55% chance). Nitwits (5% chance) are waiting to be found!
• In-Game Name Editor & Gacha Control: Access the built-in Companion Names Setting right from the Title Screen!
  • Manage with Ease: Add your friends' names, search through the existing pool, or remove names using a clean, scrollable interface.
  • Favorites System (★): Pin your most-loved names to the top of the list and protect them from accidental deletion.
  • Custom Gacha Pool: Toggle between spawning from "All Names" or strictly from your "Favs Only" list to guarantee you always get the companion name you want!

2. AI & Commands 🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥

• Interactive 3-State Command System: Shift + Right Click to toggle between Roaming (0), Stand Ground (1), and Follow (2).
• Auto-Locator: Easily toggle "Locate Companion" from the Companion Settings menu (or use /companion locate on) to highlight your companion with a glowing effect when they wander too far.

3. Combat & Gear ᯓ➤

• Advanced Combat Economy: Weapons and Armor have durability. Ammo (Arrows) is consumed realistically.
• Smart Auto-Equip: Shift-Click to equip armor instantly.

4. HUD & Status ⚔︎

• Real-time Status Tracking: Full 6-slot gear panel with durability bars.
• Health & Absorption Display: Toggleable "Vanilla Hearts" vs "RPG Bar". Both modes now fully support Golden Absorption Hearts and real-time status effect synchronization.
• Visual Polish: Dynamic font scaling for long names and color-coded health bars for Poison/Wither effects.
• Dynamic Avatar Styles:
  • 3D Portrait: A live 3D render of your companion that tracks your mouse. Powered by a custom "Dummy Entity" engine to ensure the camera stays 100% stable and jitter-free, even when your companion is attacking or eating!
  • 2.5D Face: A stylish isometric/angled view of your companion's face, adding a perfect touch of 3D depth while remaining clean and unobtrusive.
  • 2D Face Icon: An ultra-lightweight, 2D cropped front-facing icon automatically generated from their current skin.

5. Immersion & Memes 😳

• Advanced Autonomy: * Smart Auto-Eat: Automatically consumes food from the inventory when HP < 50% with chewing animations and particle effects. Features Real-time UI Sync: If you are looking inside their backpack while they eat, you will see the food count dynamically drop!
  • Buff System: Supports all potion effects and food-based buffs (e.g., Golden Apples). Includes toxicity mechanics for raw/spoiled items.
• Cloud Sync: Data persists through portal travel and death events (90s respawn).
• Meme Sound System:
  • 4 Dynamic Audio Triggers: Custom sounds for when your companion is hit by YOU, hit by a MONSTER, DIES, or just IDLING around.
  • Auto-Installation Magic: The mod automatically extracts a ready-to-use Companion_Meme_Pack.zip template into your game folder on the first launch. Just drop your .ogg files inside!
  • Smart Cooldown Control: Use /companion meme cooldown <seconds> to adjust the delay and prevent audio overlapping!

6. Death Mechanics 👻

When your companion falls in battle, their soul stays with you to witness the fight!

• Stand-Style Tracking: The ghost smoothly hovers behind your right shoulder, perfectly tracking your head and body movements.
• 100% Intangible: Using advanced bounding-box manipulation and Vanilla Scoreboard Collision rules, the ghost has absolutely ZERO physics. You can walk right through them without any pushing or getting stuck.
• Zero Hit-Sounds: All interaction events are strictly cancelled. Swinging your sword through the ghost yields no annoying hit sounds.
• Custom Floating NameTag: A neat, floating, color-coded NameTag displays exactly whose soul is haunting you.
• Toggleable Command: Not a fan of ghosts? Simply type /companion ghost off to instantly exorcise them (Defaults to ON).

7. Customizable HUD 🎛️

Take absolute control over your screen with a built-in, pixel-perfect HUD editor!

• Drag & Drop Editor: Access the editor via the new "Companion Settings" button in the Pause Menu/Options, or by typing /companion_hud edit. Move HUD elements freely around your screen.
• Smart Alignment & Auto-Margin: UI elements feature magnetic edge-snapping. Drag elements near the screen edge or near each other, and they automatically snap into perfect alignments.
• Component Visibility Toggle: Don't need to see the armor or weapon slots? Right-click any HUD box in the editor to instantly hide or show specific elements.
• Dynamic Resizing & F11 Protection: The editor intelligently adjusts its hitboxes whether you are using Vanilla Hearts or the compact RPG Bar. HUD coordinates use relative scaling to ensure your UI never breaks when changing resolutions or toggling F11 Fullscreen.
• Persistent Configuration: Your personalized layout is automatically saved to a companion_hud.json config file.

8. Skins & Cosmetics 👗

Tired of the default Villager robes? Give your companion a complete makeover!

• Drop & Play System: Drop any standard Minecraft .png skin file into the config/companion_skins folder. The mod handles the rest!
• Interactive 3D Showroom: Open the Skin Menu to preview your skins in a 3D environment. Features mouse-drag rotation with buttery-smooth inertia, auto-rotation, and a sleek resource-pack style scrolling list.
• Smart Profession Hiding: The mod's engine automatically detects when a custom skin is applied and dynamically hides vanilla profession hats/clothing to prevent clipping, ensuring your custom skins look perfect.

9. Pocket Management 🎒

• Summon & Unsummon: Open Companion Settings to instantly Unsummon (store) them. Summon them back whenever you want. Your companion's name, XP, and inventory are 100% safely preserved in the cloud.
• Anti-Exploit Respawn: You cannot bypass the 90-second death penalty by unsummoning a dead companion. Attempting to summon them early will simply manifest their Ghost to remind you of the remaining cooldown.
• World Generation Control: Choose whether to auto-spawn a companion from the Title Screen before even stepping foot into a new world.

• /companion locate <on/off> - Toggle the glowing effect locator.
• /companion ghost <on/off> - Toggle Jojo ghost appearance.
• /companion meme <on/off> - Enable or disable meme sounds (and mute ongoing audio).
• /companion meme cooldown <seconds> - Adjust delay between meme sound plays.
• /companion_hud edit - Open the studio HUD editor.
• /companion_hud avatar 3d - Switch the HUD avatar to a live 3D Portrait.
• /companion_hud avatar 2d - Switch the HUD avatar to a flat 2D Face Icon.
• /companion_hud avatar 2.5d - Switch the HUD avatar to a flat 2.5D Face Icon.
