Write It On Paper, Then

This is a lightweight datapack that allows players to write lore/description on items without admin commands. Created mostly for roleplay, although can be used as a utility. In case you want to remove this datapack, you will have to delete all its scoreboards. You access help in english and russian through the triggers "custom_lore_help" and "custom_lore_help_ru". English version contains this text:

To bind custom lore onto your item, take the book with the lore into your left hand, drop the item you want to add the lore to onto the ground in proximity of 3 blocks and write /trigger apply_lore.

The lore must be written as a single line in quotes, up to 8 pages long. It appends to already existing lore, so you can write a single line at a time. Adding lore that isn't in quotes will corrupt its lore until it's cleared.

To clear the lore, drop the item in proximity and write /trigger clear_lore.

Important:
Do not sign the book. It will transform its data from pure text into JSON format, which does not contain quotes and will also corrupt the lore.
