XCreeper
ModrinthSpigotMCA server plugin that makes Creepers ask players for permission before exploding.
XCreeper – A Creeper That Asks for Permission!
A Paper 1.21.11 plugin that gives Creepers a "manners module" – they ask before exploding!
Overview
This plugin is similar to the 'CreeperConsent' mod.
Tired of Creepers blowing up your builds and scaring your villagers without warning?
XCreeper changes that! When a Creeper is about to explode, it presents the targeted player with a choice GUI, letting them decide the Creeper’s fate:
"Nah, not today" → The Creeper calmly turns away, walks 8 blocks, and transforms into a spectacular Creeper‑shaped firework (no block destruction)!

"Sure, let's go" → The Creeper detonates exactly like vanilla (with damage and block damage).

No more unexpected explosions or heart attacks!
Features
Interactive GUI
When a Creeper targets you (within 5 blocks), a chest‑style GUI appears with the title "A creeper has asked for your permission to explode" featuring two glass pane buttons.
Fully Customisable Text & Colours
Edit config.yml to change the GUI title, button labels, and prompt messages – supports & colour codes (e.g., &a for green).
Choose "Nah, not today"
The Creeper drops its target and walks away from you. After reaching 8 blocks, it bursts into:
Two Creeper‑shaped fireworks (green + yellow, using the vanilla "Creeper Charge" pattern)
A colourful particle explosion (dust, flame, smoke)
Multiple firework sound effects
Absolutely no block destruction!
Choose "Sure, let's go"
Instantly triggers a vanilla Creeper explosion (with fire, block damage, and entity damage) – just like the original game.
Multi‑Creeper Queue Support
If multiple Creepers target the same player at once, they are queued and handled one by one – no confusion.
Force Choice – No ESC‑ing
If the player presses ESC to close the GUI, it automatically re‑opens with a reminder message until a choice is made (except if the player quits the server, in which case the default is "Sure, let's go").

No GUI at Long Range
Creepers farther than 5 blocks will not trigger the GUI – they chase normally until they enter the trigger distance, keeping gameplay intuitive.
Lightweight & Efficient
Fully event‑driven, no polling tasks – minimal performance impact, suitable for large servers.
