PaperMC Book and Quill Dupe Patch [1.21]

NOTICE: This plugin is no longer required if you are on the latest version of PaperMC (1.21+) as the issue was fixed.



This mod patches the recent Book and Quill duplication glitch. This glitch works by abusing the fact that PaperMC doesn't check the length of Book&Quills to ensure it is a valid length. When a mod abuses this to sign a book with a title beyond the character limit, the server fails to save the playerdata, causing a duplication glitch.



This plugin ensures that book and quill titles are in the valid range for Minecraft, patching the dupe glitch.
