What is JExVote?

JExVote handles the full voting flow for Minecraft servers. It receives votes directly from vote sites, checks Votifier signatures, rewards players, tracks daily streaks, stores offline rewards, and gives players a clean /vote menu.

You do not need NuVotifier. JExVote includes its own Votifier-compatible server with support for legacy v1 RSA votes and modern v2 HMAC votes.

Player menus

Players open everything through /vote.

• Vote overview - personal stats, streak progress, vote points and clickable vote sites.
• Leaderboard - paginated ranking with top players and vote counts.
• Streak view - current streak, highest streak and configured milestone rewards.
• Rewards view - jackpot odds, freeze purchase, gift actions, multiplier status and party progress.
• Vote shop - spend vote points on configured rewards. Premium feature.

Reward system

Rewards are configured in rewards.yml. You can grant simple rewards, build reward bundles, add chance-based drops, or create jackpot pools with weighted outcomes.

Streaks and freezes

JExVote tracks consecutive daily voting. The default streak timeout gives players a configurable buffer instead of breaking the streak at exactly 24 hours.

Streak Freezes protect players when they miss a vote window. They are consumed automatically when needed, so players do not have to activate them manually. Every player can start with a free freeze, more can be bought with vote points, and ranks can receive higher freeze caps through permission nodes.

Vote gifting

Players can keep another player's streak alive with:

A gift advances only the receiver's streak. The sender keeps their own vote rewards. Daily gift limits are configurable and can be raised per rank.

Premium features

• Unlimited vote sites - the free edition is limited to 5 configured sites.
• Vote Party - a server-wide counter that rewards every contributor when the target is reached.
• Vote Shop - players spend vote points on configured shop items.
• Weekend multipliers - scale vote points, XP and currency during configured day windows.

Setup

1. Drop JExVote.jar into your plugins folder.
2. Start the server once.
3. Open plugins/JExVote/config.yml.
4. Copy the generated Votifier token into your vote site settings.
5. Open the Votifier port in your firewall or hosting panel. Default: 8192.
6. Add your vote sites in sites.yml.
7. Configure rewards in rewards.yml.
8. Run /jexvote fakevote <player> to test the full flow.

Good to know

• No NuVotifier install is required.
• Vote site cooldowns can use rolling windows or fixed daily resets.
• Deleted example vote sites stay deleted after reloads and restarts.
• Offline voters still receive their rewards when they join.
• The REST API uses HMAC authentication and configurable rate limits.
• Configuration files can be hot-reloaded with /jexvote reload.
