Overview

DP-Auction provides a complete player-to-player auction house system.

Players can list items, place bids, instantly purchase listings, and collect rewards through mailbox interfaces without requiring any client modifications.

All interactions are handled through inventory GUIs and Anvil input menus, providing a familiar experience for players.

Auction Flow

Listing

• Player places an item into the listing GUI
• Starting bid and Buy Now price are configured
• Listing fee is charged
• Auction becomes publicly available

Bidding

• Bid amount is immediately withdrawn and held in escrow
• Previous bidders are refunded automatically when outbid
• Offline refunds are stored in mailboxes

Buy Now

• Immediately ends the auction
• Current bidders are refunded automatically
• Winner receives the item through the mailbox system

Settlement

• Sold items are delivered to the winner mailbox
• Sale earnings are delivered to the seller mailbox
• Expired listings are returned to the seller mailbox

Mailbox System

DP-Auction never attempts to directly place items or money into a player's inventory.

Everything is stored safely until manually claimed.
